Fig. 3.8: Blocks of iron-stained quartzitic sandstone in the wall outside Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Kalk Bay, that was completed in 1874. The sandstone contains rounded white quartz pebbles, which are prominent near the five cent coin, and these are distinguishing features of the

Peninsula Formation. The stone blocks were probably obtained from loose boulders.
