                  Letters from the Front


                  Towards the end of the war the Cape Times published a booklet of letters written by men of

                  the 1  SA Brigade who had fought at the Battle of Delville Wood in 1916. Among them are
                  two from Kalk Bay men, as well as a moving poem from another Kalk Bay serviceman.
