Conclusion
Those interviewed by the Select Committee in 1902 predicted that the plans under
consideration would be adequate for 100 years, and they were correct. Kalk Bay never
became home to 20 steam trawlers or 200 smaller craft and has instead remained a modest
working fishing harbour.
