                  and became a City Councillor for one of the southern suburbs’ wards. He died in 1954.
                  Shirley served during the Second War but pre-deceased Frank, dying from a single bee

                  sting.


                  John Williamson, after the dissolution of the Air Taxi Co. in 1939, joined the SAAF as

                  a Lieutenant. On 22 July 1942 he collapsed at his home “Schoonzicht” in Kalk Bay and
                  was taken to Wynberg Military Hospital. He died there and was buried with military

                  honours at Woltemade Cemetery two days later. He was 45 years old.
