Grant’s design of Watergate, a Provincial Heritage site (11 May 1984)
at 250-252 Main Road Muizenberg for the department store entrepreneur
John Garlick in 1914 and his design of the second Muizenberg Pavilion in
1926 were two of his best known works. Grant retired to Hermanus in 1949
where he died in January 1957, aged eighty.
